A species of hummingbird that lives in the Andes near Bolivia to Venezuela. It could be confused with another type of long tailed hummingbirds called the Trainbearers.
Only the male of the species carry a long tailed as the name describes. The tail is sometimes so long and heavy that it can hinder its flight, but females choose their mates based on the longest tail, and therefore can carry the heaviest load.
This hummingbird is portrayed in its actual colour, with triple fired with real gold luster beak and glazed eyes. Hardware and simple instructions for mounting are included.
4.5"L x 3.75" W x 3.75" D (Length of branch)
Luster Care: To brighten/ shine the gold beak, use a clean, soft cloth as recommended with polishing fine jewelry, and rub lightly for a more polished look.
