IUCN Status: Endangered.
A rare wild cow that resides in Cambodia. It is threatened by habitat degradation, species hybridization with domesticated cattle, and cattle diseases. Conservation efforts may prove difficult simply because the Banteng looks like a domesticated cattle.
There are about fewer than 8000 wild Bantengs left, and its population has decreased approximately 80% in the last few decades.
Jars are ~2" DIA, 4" H. Stained porcelain and glazed interior. Name and IUCN Status are written at the bottom of the jars.
